1. Who we are

The data controller is Dr. Gabriel Roșca, operating this aesthetic dermatology practice in Bucharest, Romania. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at the email address shown on the Visit section of this site.

2. What we collect

This website itself does not have a booking form and does not collect or store your name, contact details, or appointment information. The only thing this site saves about you is your language and light/dark theme preference, kept in your own browser’s local storage so the site remembers your choice on your next visit — this is never sent to us.

When you click a booking link or use the booking widget, you leave this site and book directly on Setmore (setmore.com), operated by Setmore Inc. Setmore then collects whatever information it needs to take your booking (such as your name, email, phone number and the treatment and time you select). That collection happens entirely on Setmore’s own platform and is governed by Setmore’s own privacy policy, not by this one — we recommend reading it before you book.

3. Why we use it

The only data this site itself handles is your saved language and theme preference, which exists purely to make the site easier and more pleasant for you to use on return visits (our legitimate interest in providing a good browsing experience, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use it for tracking, profiling, or marketing. Any data you provide while booking is used by Setmore for the purpose of taking and managing your appointment, under Setmore’s own policy.

4. Who we share it with

This site is hosted on Vercel’s infrastructure, which, like any web host, processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) to serve the site; it does not have access to booking data, because this site does not send it any. Beyond hosting, the only other party involved is Setmore: when you book through Setmore’s widget or booking page, your booking details are sent directly to Setmore and handled entirely by them — we have no visibility into, or control over, that data once it reaches Setmore. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not use any analytics or marketing tools on this site.

5. How long we keep it

This site does not hold a database of bookings or personal records of any kind, so there is no retention period to describe on our side — we simply do not have that data to keep or delete. Your saved language and theme preference stays in your own browser until you clear your browser data; we never receive a copy of it. Any retention of your booking information is determined by Setmore, under their own privacy policy.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise any of these rights regarding information held by this site, contact us using the details in Section 1. For data held about a booking you made through Setmore, you may also need to contact Setmore directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Romania’s data protection authority (ANSPDCP).

7. Cookies and local storage

This site stores your language and light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. None of this is sent to us or used to track you across other websites. This site does not set any other cookies or local storage of its own; if you proceed to book through Setmore, Setmore’s own site may use cookies under its own policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how the site works or who we work with. The date below reflects the latest version.
